Totally forgot about this one, we went to a Eurovision party last weekend and were charged with bringing some european food. Obviously it was going ot be Italian – even though they didn’t make the final – and this is one of the best recipes ever.

It’s from a book called ‘Italian Kitchen’  which Simon got me as a present knowing that it contains all my favourite classic italian recipes including pumpkin ravioli! But these were an unexpected treat, I’d never made breadsticks before and it’s unsurprisingly, very easy. But the reason these are so yumarama are the ingredients you mix with the dough: garlic and basil in one half sprinkled with salt flakes and parmesan in the other. They are really good with hummus mmmmm.
